| The Brantford Soccer Classic is classified as a North American Competitive Tournament and is sanctioned by the OSA. The Tournament is open to both boys and girls competitive teams in the following age divisions:
UNDER 9 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 2001 (Inter District only) (7 a side) UNDER 10 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 2000 (Inter District only) (7 a side) UNDER 11 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1999 UNDER 12 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1998 UNDER 13 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1997 UNDER 14 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1996 UNDER 15 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1995 UNDER 16 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1994 UNDER 17 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1993 UNDER 18 – BORN ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1992
The U11 to U13 age groups will be played between August 6th and 8th. The U9 to U10 mini age groups and the U14 to U18 age groups will be played between August 13th and 15th.
Note: Only a few teams will be playing a game on Friday night. The Tournament will accommodate teams that are unable to play on Friday.
Teams will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Participating teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games. Round robin play will generally take place on Friday and Saturday with the playoffs on Sunday. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division and the coaches will receive gift certificates. An MVP from each team in the final will receive an award.
There will be linesmen for all games U11 and up, in both the preliminary and playoff games.
The entrance fee for the tournament is $350 CDN (Mini U9 - U10 IS $300 CDN). The tournament application is available on the OSA Tournament website or the links below. Note: Teams will not be considered for acceptance until the Tournament receives the entrance fee. Any team that withdraws from the tournament after the deadline date has passed or after they have been accepted into the tournament, will forfeit their entry fee to the club. Any team that withdraws prior to these dates must do so in writing and will be assessed a $75 administrative charge.
